From January to the end of February 2026, the pieces created during the AlUla residency will be presented in the exhibition Material Witness: Celebrating Design From Within, at Design Space AlUla, as part of the AlUla Arts Festival. The exhibition brings together the works of the 2025 residency designers, the finalists of the AlUla Design Award, the participants of the AlUla Designathon, as well as creations from Madrasat Addeera, a local art and design center that blends traditional craft knowledge with contemporary exploration.
Curated by Dominique Petit-Frère and Majedah Aldulaijan, and artistically directed by Ali Alghazzawi and Arnaud Morand, the exhibition positions design as a practice rooted in place, shaped by climate, landscape, and lived experience. The Lafiya collection, developed during the residency, is presented there for the first time.
