Paul Ledron has been selected to participate in the AlUla Design Residency 2025, a program organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla in partnership with the French Agency for the Development of AlUla (Afalula). The residency, which takes place from April to June 2025 in Saudi Arabia, brings together five international studios for a multi-month immersion in this ancient desert oasis, Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage site.
For centuries, AlUla was a major stop on the Incense Route, a place of passage, exchange, and encounters between civilizations. It is within this context, at the crossroads of history, landscape, and living things, that Paul Ledron will develop a new project rooted in the materials, gestures, and narratives of the place.
